OEE Online Dashboard
Objective: Providing a unified view of production in a diverse machine environment
Data accuracy: high
Implementation complexity: high
This solution is used in cases where production systems can expose data allowing at least the availability rate to be calculated - whether the machine is running or not. In better cases, the data also includes information about each produced part, allowing performance calculation, and in the best cases, the data stream includes information on whether the produced part is OK or scrapped. This additionally allows the quality index value to be determined.
It is assumed that no factory can provide 100% of the required data. Therefore, the OEE Monitor is equipped with a panel through which operators can enter missing data. Here, we can distinguish two cases:
Full operator panel for machines without any electronics, e.g., old saws or manual processing stations.
Supplementary panel where operators enter data that the machine cannot provide, e.g., downtime reasons or information about scrapped parts.
